Ingredients for making moqueca de bass:

 2 kilograms of sea bass

 400 milliliters of coconut milk

1 cup of water or fish broth

 3 units of tomato

 2 lemon units

 ½ unit of red pepper

 ½ unit of green pepper

 1 large onion unit

 1 bunch of coriander

 3 tablespoons of palm oil

 salt

How to make moqueca de bass:

To make this bass recipe, start by preparing the ingredients: cut the fish into slices, season with the lemon juice and salt to taste and set aside for 15-20 minutes.

Meanwhile, chop the vegetables (tomato, onion and pepper) or, for a more traditional look, cut into slices. Also chop the coriander, reserving 1 or 2 branches to decorate the dish.

Heat a pan with a little oil and assemble the moqueca layers: place half the vegetables with half the cilantro, add the fish and add the remaining vegetables and cilantro.

Let the bottom vegetables cook for 1-2 minutes, then add the coconut milk, water or broth and palm oil and cook covered for about 15 minutes.

At the end of this time, adjust the flavor of your sea bass moqueca with salt to taste. Serve hot decorated with coriander and accompanied by cabbage crumbs or white rice and good appetite!
